Evening Lecture: Digitalization and Private International Law

In collaboration with the Waseda University Institute of Comparative Law (ICL), the Heidelberg University Office Kyoto (HUOK), and the German Centre for Research and Innovation Tokyo (DWIH Tokyo), RCLIP hosted a lecture on Digitalization and Private International Law. Dr. Zimmermann (Heidelberg University) and Prof. Tanemura (Waseda University) shared insights on recent developments and challenges posed by new technology in the context of private international law in both Germany and Japan. The lecture attracted an audience primarily of graduate students, who actively participated in a Q&A session with both speakers following their talks.
